At Hometown Opera Company, our Student Apprentice Program gives local high school students the chance to learn, rehearse, and perform alongside professional opera singers.

 

Following its  last season's debut with "Gianni Schicchi", the program continues this summer with "The Miller’s Daughter", an opera that follows the story of love and tragedy.

Selected apprentices will:

​

• Receive free voice lessons with an HTOC opera singer

• Participate in the rehearsal process

• Appear in the production opening August 8 for a two-weekend run

 

We are seeking 1–3 strong high school singers and actors who are curious, hardworking, and excited to grow as performers.

Program Dates: June 30 – August 16
Application Deadline: June 5
Apprentices Announced: Second week of June
